Longnose lancetfish (Alepisaurus ferox) are heavily affected by plastic pollution. The plastic items in the center of the photo were found in the stomachs of lancetfish collected in the North Atlantic Ocean in the years 2015 and 2016 and were kindly provided by Jesús Gago from the Instituto Español de Oceanografía in Vigo, Galicia.
El lanzón (Alepisaurus ferox) es una especie fuertemente afectada por la basura marina. Los plásticos en el centro de la foto se encontraron en los estomagos de lanzones recolectados en el Océano Atlantico del Norte durante los años 2015 y 2016 y fueron amablemente suministrados por Jesús Gago del Instituto Español de Oceanografía de Vigo, Galicia.
